Privacy Policy — CLIPIT

CLIPIT combines photos and video clips into one video. You choose the media, arrange and trim it, and optionally add music from Files.

Accounts and data collection

CLIPIT does not require an account or sign-in. The app does not include advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. CLIPIT does not upload your media or send personal information to BELINA Apps, and it does not use a BELINA Apps backend.

Photos, videos and music

You select photos and videos using the system Photos picker and music using the Files picker. CLIPIT uses the selected files to prepare, preview and create your video on your device. It creates temporary working copies and output files in its own app storage; it does not edit or delete your original source files.

Temporary files may remain until the app removes them or the operating system clears temporary storage. Videos you save to Photos or share elsewhere are separate copies and remain under your control.

If selected media is stored in iCloud or another file provider, the system may need to retrieve it from that provider. Your Photos, Files and cloud-provider settings govern those services.

Saving and sharing

When you choose to save a finished video to Photos, CLIPIT requests permission to add it to your photo library. You can manage this permission in your device Settings.

When you choose Share, CLIPIT passes the finished video to the system share sheet. The destination you select handles that copy under its own privacy practices. CLIPIT does not automatically share your video with BELINA Apps.

Local diagnostics

The app may write local technical diagnostics, such as media filenames, video-format information and error messages, to the device's system console. CLIPIT does not send these diagnostics to a BELINA Apps server.

Contacting support

If you email us, your email address, message and any attachments you choose to include are provided to BELINA Apps through email so we can respond to your request. Please do not send passwords or private photos and videos.

This website

This support and privacy website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Its pages do not include analytics scripts, advertising or a contact form. GitHub operates the hosting service separately from the CLIPIT app.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if CLIPIT's data practices change. The date above indicates the latest update.
